　スティーブリッチー氏のデザインで５バンクのドロップターゲット、アッパーフィールドが搭載される模様。

It is almost time for us to begin production of the very anticipated
Elvis pinball machine. Many of you have seen Elvis in our office or at
the recent AAMA annual meeting event. Elvis pinball has had a great
reception by distributors and players. For those who have not seen the
game, a mock up is attached.

Steve Ritchie and the rest of the design staff has produced a game that
is truly exciting to play. The game has a transparent upper playfield,
all metal ramps, 5 bank drop target, 4 flippers, a Heartbreak Hotel, a
Hound Dog, a Jail House, and an Elvis that dances up and back along his
stage as he sings 7 Elvis songs. Yes, its actual recordings of Elvis
singing. In addition to actual Elvis singing, the pinball includes
speech by an Elvis impersonator and 2 announcers. One, Al Dvorin, was
Elvis' tour manager and bandleader who said on tour with Elvis and says
in the game, "Elvis has left the building." For Hispanic locations and
export markets, speech and dot matrix will be available in Spanish,
French, German & English. All Elvis singing in those games will be in
English by Elvis himself. The art is by the Lord team.

This is an especially exciting year for an Elvis game. This year's
Elvis week, taking place in Memphis this month, celebrates 50 years
since Elvis' first recording, "That's All Right, Mama" . We will have
games at Elvis week, attended by tens of thousands of fans. There will
be a lot of other promotion. One example is a TV Guide promotion
picturing the game as grand prize.

We are also offering a few variations for the Elvis games:
We are offering a limited run of 300-500 Gold Edition
Elvis pinballs, with gold legs, side armor, front molding and speaker
grills. The quantity will be between the 300 and 500, no more.
We are offering an aftermarket addition that can be added
by you, a shaker motor. All of the games are wired and programmed to
operate the shaker. We think this is especially attractive for home
game sales.

We will make a limited number of Elvis export samples next week. We
will begin export production approximately August 26. This will be
followed by Gold Edition production. US production should start
thereafter, late September or early October, depending on quantity of
Gold Edition orders. We will do our best to have a sample game for
distributor events prior thereto.

Our plans are to make Elvis through December. We plan to make a
re-arted Harley Davidson pinball probably in late November. We will
tell you more about it as we near production. In early September we
will manufacture more Monopoly redemption.

We will contact you concerning you initial orders. We have released
more Elvis than any initial release in Stern's history, yet production
rates will limit availability through Christmas. Please consider your
export sample and your realistic & firm opening orders. We will
schedule our production accordingly.
